Welcome to The Women's Surgery Center.

The Women's Surgery Center is a fully licensed facility dedicated to perform only gynecological procedures. Our 9,250 square foot facility, built in 2002, is ultra-modern and ultra-clean. It contains three tastefully appointed and spacious reception areas, two interview rooms for private discussions with your nurse, two ultrasound rooms, two fetal well being testing rooms, ten examination rooms, a large centrally located administration area, two pre-op and recovery rooms, and one sterile operating room.

State of the are technology is used to perform hysteroscopies, D&Cs, endometrial ablations, cone biopsies, laser vaporizations, transobturator sling procedures, female hernia repairs, operative laser laparoscopies, and laparoscopic hysterectomies. Pregnancy termination is not performed in our center.

Conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding, abnormal pap smears, stress urinary incontinence, chronic pelvic pain, and pelvic relaxation syndrome are successfully treated in the surgery center.

A unique feature of the Women's Surgery Center is that only one surgery is performed at a time. Unlike the hospital setting, when a patient is having surgery in our facility, she enjoys the undivided attention of the entire staff.

Another unique feature of the Center is that there are no windows separating our reception personnel from our patients. Our attentive staff is readily available to respond to our patients' needs.

The Women's Surgery Center was built in the property adjacent to the campus of the East Georgia Regional Medical Center, in which all of our physicians have admitting privileges.

David Sands, a renowned internal design specialist in the Savannah area was commissioned to decorate the facility employing feng shui principles to maximize the comfort of our patients and their families.
