The town of Statesboro Georgia is the home of
Georgia Southern University and is a genuine example of “Southern
hospitality.” Statesboro, in the heart of Bulloch County, has been a
locale of southern society and culture since 1894. In our community,
you can find many historic hotels, a cultural Center for the Arts, a
public Continuing Education facility, Wildlife centers and Botanical
gardens, and an Agribusiness center. Statesboro also offers tours of
the local Wal-Mart distribution center, which is the largest in the
world. The Georgia Southern University campus brags a national
science museum, conservation gardens, a center for Wildlife Education,
and a symphony orchestra. Our town is also located within a day’s
drive to Savannah, Jacksonville, Charleston, and Atlanta.
