If you have been experiencing chronic pelvic pain that has lasted six months or more and has not significantly improved with the use of medications such as Advil, Aleve, Motrin, or oral contraceptives, then there is a good chance that a serious disease such as endometriosis may be causing these symptoms. At the Women's Surgery Center we perform the most minimally invasive procedures to correct chronic pelvic pain syndromes. In most cases the initial evaluation, ancillary studies, and treatment procedure can all be performed on the same day. Pre-cancerous changes of the cervix (dysplasia) should be aggressively diagnosed and treated to prevent the development of cervical cancer.
